Οι ομάδες που διακρίθηκαν στο «Hack the Camp», παρουσιάζουν τις καινοτόμες προτάσεις τους για θέματα γύρω από το προσφυγικό ζήτημα.

Οι ομάδες RefuGR, Refergon και Taproot, που διακρίθηκαν στην τελική φάση του ‘Hack the Camp”, τον Δεκέμβριο του 2016, θα παρουσιάσουν τα έργο τους στους υπόλοιπους συμμετέχοντες, μέντορες, και δημοσιογράφους την Πέμπτη 1η Ιουνίου 2017 στις 7:00μμ στο Impact Hub Athens (Καραϊσκάκη 28, Ψυρρή, Αθήνα). Μέσα στους πέντε μήνες που ακολούθησαν τον τελικό του Hack the Camp, οι ομάδες με την υποστήριξη του Impact Hub Athens είχαν την ευκαιρία να μετατρέψουν τις ιδέες τους σε προϊόντα και υπηρεσίες που ανταποκρίνονται σε ανάγκες των προσφύγων στην Ελλάδα.

Η βραδιά θα κλείσει με ζωντανή μουσική από την ορχήστρα και τη χορωδία του El Sistema Greece, υπό τη διεύθυνση του παγκοσμίου φήμης Gerald Wirth, μαέστρου της Vienna Boys Choir. Το El Sistema Greece, μια πρωτοβουλία του Impact Hub Athens, στόχο έχει την ένταξη των παιδιών και νεαρών προσφύγων στην ελληνική κοινωνία και κουλτούρα αξιοποιώντας τη δύναμη της μουσικής.

Ο τελικός του δημιουργικού μαραθώνιου “Hack the Camp” πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 2-4 Δεκεμβρίου 2016 και διοργανώθηκε από το Impact Hub Athens, τη Στέγη του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση και την Πρεσβεία των Η.Π.Α. στην Αθήνα, με τη συνεργασία δύο διεθνών οργανισμών με μεγάλη εμπειρία στη διοργάνωση hackathons με ανθρωπιστικό προσανατολισμό: τους Creative Associates από τις Η.Π.Α. και το International Alert από τη Μεγάλη Βρετανία.

“Hack the Camp” Winners Present their Innovative Solutions to Refugee Challenges.

Οι ομάδες που διακρίθηκαν στο «Hack the Camp»,  παρουσιάζουν τις καινοτόμες προτάσεις τους για θέματα γύρω από το προσφυγικό ζήτημα.

Teams “RefuGR”, “Refergon” and “Taproot” present their projects on Thursday, June 1st 2017 at 7:00pm at an invitation-only event for hackathon participants, mentors, press and select guests in Impact Hub Athens (Karaiskaki 28, Athens). During the five months that followed the Hack the Camp final, through the support provided by Impact Hub Athens, the winning teams have been able to  further develop their ideas into products and services that address refugee challenges in Greece.

The night will close with a performance by the music ensemble & choir of El Sistema Greece, directed by the world renowned Gerald Wirth, director of the Vienna Boys Choir. El Sistema Greece is an Impact Hub Athens initiative that aims to open the doors to young refugees in the Greek society and culture through music.

The final Hack the Camp event was held on December 2-4, 2016 and was organized by the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Impact Hub Athens, and the Onassis Foundation Cultural Center in collaboration with two international organizations with extensive experience in organizing humanitarian hackathons: Creative Associates from the U.S. and International Alert from Great Britain.
