Το Startup Live Athens είναι ένα τριήμερο event επιχειρηματικότητας, το οποίο διοργανώνεται για τρίτη συνεχή χρονιά στις 7 με 9 Ιουνίου και θα φιλοξενηθεί στο ALBA Graduate Business School, at the American College of Greece. Ώριμες ιδέες, στο στάδιο της ανάπτυξης ή της υλοποίησης έρχονται να βρουν ομάδα και, με τις συμβουλές και την καθοδήγηση έμπειρων μεντόρων, να αναπτυχθούν ακόμη περισσότερο. Τελικός σκοπός, να διαγωνιστούν και να διεκδικήσουν βραβεία που θα τις υποστηρίξουν στο ξεκίνημά τους, όπως συμμετοχή στο Pioneers Festival, ένα απο τα μεγαλύτερα συνέδρια επιχειρηματικότητας στην Ευρώπη.
Φέτος, με θέμα τη ‘’Βιώσιμη Επιχειρηματικότητα’’, επιθυμούμε να στοχεύσουμε σε τομείς όπου η χώρα μας έχει ανάγκη, αλλά και πολλές δυνατότητες ανάπτυξης, όπως η υγεία, η εκπαίδευση, ο τουρισμός, η αγροτική παραγωγή και η μεταποίηση. Ήρθε η ώρα να αντιμετωπίσουμε την επιχειρηματικότητα ως έναν τρόπο να αναδειχθεί η εργατικότητα, η καινοτομία, αλλά και η δυνατότητά μας να λειτουργήσουμε με μακροχρόνιο ορίζοντα, με σκοπό την αειφόρο ανάπτυξη, και όχι τα εφήμερα κέρδη.
Οι πρώτοι μέντορες που έχουν ήδη ανακοινωθεί είναι η Άντρεα Σολωμονίδου, συνιδρύτρια της Cubik-S και Incubo Strategies, ο Αλέξης Κομσέλης, διευθυντής του AHEAD, Alba Hub for Enterprise and Development και η Πετρούλα Καραγιάννη, συνιδρύτρια του δικτύου για την εκπαίδευση Gnosis. Το επόμενο διάστημα, θα ανακοινώνονται απο διάφορα μέσα, οι μέντορες και κριτές του event.
Η συμμετοχή είναι ανοιχτή σε άτομα και ομάδες που έχουν ή θέλουν να συμμετέχουν σε μια επιχειρηματική ιδέα που να εμπίπτει στις θεματικές του Startup Live Athens #3 “Sustainable Entrepreneurship”, δηλαδή του τουρισμού, της αγροτικής παραγωγής και μεταποίησης, της εκπαίδευσης και της υγείας. Οι ιδέες αυτές μπορούν να είναι στο στάδιο της ανάπτυξης ή και των πρώτων βημάτων υλοποίησης. Θα λάβουν χρήσιμες συμβουλές στο pitching training που θα γίνει την παραμονή του event αλλά και σημαντική υποστήριξη και επιπλέον feedback για την ιδέα τους από τους μέντορες και κριτές στη συνέχεια, καθώς θα δουλεύονται περαιτέρω με την ομάδα που θα σχηματιστεί.

Startup Live Athens is a three-day entrepreneurship event, which is organized for the third time in a row on June 7th to 9th, and will be hosted at the ALBA Graduate Business School, at the American College of Greece. Mature ideas at the stage of development or implementation, come in to complete a team and, with the advice and guidance of experienced mentors, develop further. The final goal is to compete and win prizes that will support them in their early beginning, such as participation at the Pioneers Festival, one of the greatest entrepreneurship conferences in Europe.
This year, with the theme “Sustainable Entrepreneurship”, we wish to aim in sectors of the Greek economy with potential and need for evolution, such as health, education, tourism, agricultural production. It is time to perceive entrepreneurship as a way to promote hard work, innovation and our capability to operate in a long-term basis and perspective for sustainable growth, and not as a way to have temporary profit.
The first announced mentors of our event are Andrea Solomonides, cofounder of Cubik-S and Incubo Strategies, Alexis Komselis, director of AHEAD, ALBA Hub for Enterprise and Development and Petroula Karagianni, cofounder of Gnosis, Network of Education. In the following days we will be announcing the rest of our mentors and judges.
Participation is open to individuals and team that have or wish to participate in a business idea relevant to one of the themes of Startup Live Athens #3 “Sustainable Entrepreneurship”, such as tourism, agricultural production, education and health. These ideas may be at the stage of development or early implementation. They will be receiving useful advice at the pitching training the day before the event, as well as support and extra feedback on their ideas, from the mentors and judges, while working with the team which will be formed.
