Ένας συναρπαστικός μήνας έχει ξεκινήσει για τον οργανισμό μας, καθώς μαζί με την ανακοίνωση των φιναλιστ του Young Entrepreneurs Programme (RG YEP) στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο πραγματοποιούμε και την πρώτη μας εκδήλωση στη Γερμανία και συγκεκριμένα στο Μόναχο, ως μέρος της επέκτασης της δραστηριότητας του Reload Greece εκτός Η.Β και Ελλάδας.
Το RG YEP είναι ένα pre accelerator πρόγραμμα 3 σταδίων σχεδιασμένο να εμπνεύσει, εκπαιδεύσει και καλλιεργήσει νέους επιχειρηματίες. Από το Σεπτέμβριο του 2017, πάνω από 300 νέοι έχουν πάρει μέρος στα κατά τόπους workshops του RG YEP, σε 14 κορυφαία πανεπιστήμια σε 7 διαφορετικές πόλεις στο Η.Β. Κατά τη διάρκεια του (πρώτου) Ignite σταδίου, οι συμμετέχοντες είχαν την ευκαιρία να εμπνευστούν από τις ιστορίες διαφορετικών επιχειρηματιών και να συμμετέχουν σε workshops με στόχο τη δημιουργία και ανάπτυξη των επιχειρηματικών τους ιδεών.
12 ιδέες από νέους επιχειρηματίες με όραμα έχουν επιλεγεί για το (δεύτερο) Accelerate στάδιο (όπου θα έχουν πρόσβαση σε 1:1 mentoring και εξειδικευμένα masterclasses στη δημιουργικότητα & καινοτομία, στα οικονομικά, στο marketing και το pitching. Το Σάββατο 27 Ιανουαρίου, το Accelerate matching event θα λάβει χώρα στο London Business School. Σε αυτή την εκδήλωση, πετυχημένοι επιχειρηματίες θα μοιραστούν την εμπειρία τους με το κοινό και οι 12 finalists θα γνωρίσουν τους μέντορές τους. Η εκδήλωση σηματοδοτεί την αρχή του mentoring προγράμματος που θα διαρκέσει 6 βδομάδες και στη διάρκεια του οποίου οι συμμετέχοντες θα δουλέψουν με τους μέντορές τους εντατικά για να μετατρέψουν την ιδέα τους σε startup. Μια ομάδα από 17 έμπειρους μέντορες, από εταιρείες όπως οι: AstraZeneca, Deloitte, Salesforce, O2, Santander, Citi και J.P. Morgan συμμετάσχουν στο πρόγραμμα για να καθοδηγήσουν τις ομάδες στο ταξίδι τους.
Το 3ο και τελευταίο στάδιο του RG YEP, Pitch θα λάβει χώρα στις 17 Μαρτίου 2018. Οι ομάδες θα παρουσιάσουν τις ιδέες τους μπροστά από ένα panel κριτών, τους μεντορές τους και ένα ζωντανό κοινό για να διεκδικήσουν τέσσερα βραβεία. Τα βραβεία περιλαμβάνουν ένα χρηματικό έπαθλο 1,000 λίρων, δωρεάν πρόσβαση σε co-working space και πρακτική άσκηση με το βραβείο Καινοτομίας που υποστηρίζεται από το Corallia, το βραβείο Young Leader, το βραβείο Social Impact που υποστηρίζεται από την εταιρία ΤΙΤΑΝ και το βραβείο Rising Star, το οποίο εξασφαλίζει άμεση πρόσβαση στο accelerator programme RG Challenge που διαρκεί 9 μέρες.
Clinical Service: Η ιδέα είναι η διάγνωση ουρολοιμώξεων να μπορεί να γίνει από τους ίδιους τους ασθενείς στα σπίτια τους χωρίς να χρειάζονται ραντεβού με γιατρό ή χωρίς να καταφύγουν στα επείγοντα.
Cloud Service: Στόχος του Cloud Service είναι να χρησιμοποιήσει πληροφορική και ρομποτική για να βελτιώσει την αναπαραγωγικότητα και επαναληπτικότητα πειραμάτων, αλλάζοντας έτσι ριζικά τους τρόπους που γίνεται η έρευνα στη βιοτεχνολογία.
Film Production: Στόχος είναι η δημιουργία ενός χώρου συνεργασίας στην Αθήνα για την παραγωγή ταινιών. Ο χώρος θα δώσει την δυνατότητα σε νέους κινηματογραφιστές να παρακολουθήσουν σεμινάρια, καθώς επίσης και πρόσβαση σε χρηματοδότηση, σαν προσπάθεια να αντιμετωπιστεί η έλλειψη νέων ελληνικών ταινιών.
FundEdu: Το FundEdu στοχεύει να συνδέσει φοιτητές που θέλουν να χρηματοδοτήσουν τις σπουδές τους μέσα από crowdfunding και P2P δανεισμό μαζί με άλλους φοιτητές, καθώς και με εταιρίες που ενδιαφέρονται να αναπτύξουν ταλέντα και να επενδύσουν σε ανθρώπους.
Interjobs: Στόχος είναι η δημιουργία μιας διαδικτυακής πλατφόρμας αναζήτησης εργασίας για διεθνείς φοιτητές και επαγγελματίες που αναζητούν δουλειά στο ΗΒ.
Online Platform: Μια πλατφόρμα όπου καταρτισμένοι εργαζόμενοι μπορούν να βρουν και να συνδεθούν με ταλαντούχους ανθρώπους στη γειτονιά τους που ενδιαφέρονται να προσφέρουν της υπηρεσίες τους, πχ. για μαθήματα μουσικής, μαγείρεμα, διακόσμηση.
Pinboard: Μια πλατφόρμα όπου φοιτητές μπορούν να διδάξουν και να μάθουν διάφορες νέες δεξιότητες (προγραμματισμό, μαθηματικά, ξένες γλώσσες) άμεσα ή διαδικτυακά από 5 με 15 λίρες την ώρα.
Πλατφόρμα για επαγγελματίες στον κλάδο των πωλήσεων: Η πλατφόρμα θα βοηθήσει tech start-ups με την εύρεση και αξιολόγηση πιθανών πωλητών από χώρους ανά την Ευρώπη, περιλαμβανομένου του Ελληνικού οικοσυστήματος, αναλαμβάνοντας το 80% της διαδικασίας πρόσληψης για εταιρείες που δεν έχουν τήμα human resources.
Racecheck: Μια παγκόσμια πλατφόρμα για εκδηλώσεις endurance sports, η οποία θα δίνει τη δυνατότητα στους χρήστες να κλείσουν εισιτηρία, να προωθήσουν εκδηλώσεις.
Statathlon: Οι αθλητές μπορούν να βελτιώσουν την απόδωση τους κατά 40% κάθε χρόνο χρησιμοποιώντας Data Science και τεχνικές Machine Learning. Το Statathlon προσφέρει τη σχετική του εμπειρία σαν μια υπηρεσία για να βοηθήσει τους αθλητές να βελτιώσουν την απόδοση τους.
Student Lease: Στόχος είναι να βελτιωθεί η αγορά ενοικίασης διαμερισμάτων με μία πλατφόρμα που θα χρησιμοποιεί AI και VR για να κάνει την διαδικασία εύρεσης και ενοικίασης κατοικιών πιο εύκολη για φοιτητές και ιδιοκτήτες, ρίχνοντας παράλληλα το κόστος.
Universal Lift Kit: Ιδέα είναι η ανάπτυξη ενός βοηθητικού αναβατικού εργαλείου σε οχήματα για ανθρώπους με κινητικά προβλήματα.

January is an exciting month for our organisation; we have announced the Young Entrepreneurs Programme (RG YEP) UK finalists and the first pilot event outside the UK and Greece, as part of our expansion plan to other European countries
RG YEP is a 3-step pre accelerator programme designed to inspire, coach and nurture aspiring young entrepreneurs. Since September 2017, over 300 young people have taken part in RG YEP workshops across 14 leading UK Universities in 7 cities. During this first Ignite phase, inspiring speaker presentations and workshops supported entrepreneurs to create and develop their business ideas.
Twelve business ideas from brilliant young entrepreneurs have now been selected to participate in the second Accelerate phase of the programme, where they will receive 1:1 mentoring and specialised masterclasses in creativity, finance, marketing and pitch training. On Saturday 27th January the Accelerate matching event will be held at the London Business School. During the event, two successful entrepreneurs will be sharing their inspiring entrepreneurial story and the finalists will be matched with their mentors. This exciting event marks the beginning of their 6-week intensive mentoring programme where they will work together to turn their idea into a viable startup. A strong pool of 17 inspiring mentors from companies such as AstraZeneca, Delloitte, Salesforce, O2, Santander, Citi & J.P. Morgan will be mentoring the idea holders over the 6 week period.
The final Pitch phase of RG YEP takes place in March 2018. Entrepreneurs will pitch their ideas to a panel of esteemed judges, their mentors and a live audience for their chance to win top awards and prizes. Four awards include a £1,000 cash prize, free access to co-working space and internships – the Innovation award powered by Corallia, the Young Leader award, the Social Impact award powered by Titan and the Rising Star award, which guarantees fast-track access to our 9-day intense accelerator programme RG Challenge.

Clinical Service The idea is to be able to self-test urinary tract infections at home since this will allow early detection and will not require the need to book an appointment with a GP or to go to a A&E to get treatment.
Cloud Service will introduce computer science and robotics to improve repeatability and reproducibility of experiments thus revolutionising the way biotech research is conducted.
Film Production will start a film production co-op in Athens. The enterprise would provide mentoring and access to resources for young filmmakers in order to overcome the issue of the lack of new Greek films by new film producers due to high barriers to entry.
FundEdu brings together students who want to fund their studies through crowdfunding and P2P lending and companies who seek to evolve talents and invest in people
Interjobs is a job search website addressed to international job seekers and students who wish to find a job in the UK.
Online Platform is where busy people can find and connect with talented people in their own neighbourhood for timesaving services like meal preparation, college essay editing, music lessons, home décor etc.
Pinboard is a marketplace platform where students can teach and learn a variety of skills from each other (coding, math, languages), in person or online, one-to-one from £5 to £15 per hour.
Platform for sales professionals will help tech start-ups with the sourcing and assessment of sales candidates from talent hubs across Europe, including the Greek start-up ecosystem, undertaking 80% of the recruitment process for companies that do not have HR services.
Racecheck is a global marketplace and review platform for endurance sports events, facilitating event booking, event promotions and peripheral service referrals

Student Lease is trying to rectify the current letting market by introducing a platform infused with AI and VR solutions that would make the process of renting out accommodation easier for students and landlords, while at the same time reducing inflated costs.
Universal Lift Kit seeks to develop a Universal Lift Kit for people with mobility challenges. There is a lack of a lift kit that could be fitted in any medium sized car or van that could be transferrable to another vehicle in order to avoid costs for both families and authorities.
