Ολοκληρώνεται η φετινή διοργάνωση του προγράμματος European Startup Universe Greece, με την Ελλάδα να συμμετέχει μαζί με 7 χώρες τις Ρουμανία, Κύπρος, Κροατία, Ουγγαρία, Λουξεμβούργο, Σλοβενία και Ισπανία. Συνολικά στο ESU συμμετείχαν 1500+ Founders, 600+ Startups, 93 Speakers, 142 Experts, ενώ ολοκληρώθηκαν 48 Workshops και συμπληρώθηκαν 45 Office Hours. Όσον αφορά τους Founders, αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι η Ελλάδα είχε τις περισσότερες εγγραφές από startups και ιδρυτές νεοφυών επιχειρήσεων συγκριτικά με τις άλλες χώρες.
Πιο αναλυτικά, στο ESU Greece συμμετείχαν 457 founders, 220 startups, 45 experts, 12 speakers, 4 strategic partners, 23 community partners, 5 media partners, ενώ τα workshops και office hours ήταν συνολικά 12. Φέτος δόθηκε έμφαση στο κομμάτι της γυναικείας επιχειρηματικότητας, έχοντας 7 γυναίκες speakers στο σύνολο των 12, 25 γυναίκες experts στο σύνολο των 45 και με την συμμετοχή 36% γυναικών Founders, ξεπερνώντας το 24% της διοργάνωσης Greek Startup Universe (το ίδιο πρόγραμμα που υλοποιήθηκε μόνο για την Ελλάδα το 2021).
Μέσα από το ESU, οι startup που συμμετείχαν είχαν τη δυνατότητα να λάβουν μέρος σε μία σειρά από δραστηριότητες όπως τα Office hours, τα Workshops, τα 1on1 Meetings με experts, τα Community-Forum επικοινωνίας, το εκπαιδευτικό υλικό, διάφορες προσφορές ή και δωρεάν διάθεση υπηρεσιών και startup εργαλείων. Επιπλέον, από τις 220 νεοφυείς επιχειρήσεις που έλαβαν μέρος στην ελληνική διοργάνωση, 20 και παραπάνω από αυτές πρόκειται να συναντήσουν τον Μάιο Angel Investors, αριθμός που αντιστοιχεί στο 21,1% του συνόλου των 8 χωρών που συμμετείχαν.

Το κλείσιμο του προγράμματος θα πραγματοποιηθεί διαδικτυακά στις 6 Μαΐου 2022, 5:00 μ.μ.- 8:00 μ.μ. και θα περιλαμβάνει την παρουσίαση των αποτελεσμάτων και του αντίκτυπου των προγραμμάτων του ESU, συζήτηση σε πάνελ για το Τεχνολογικό Οικοσύστημα της ΕΕ, τους ιδρυτές των προγραμμάτων του ESU που θα παρουσιάσουν τις startups τους και ένα διαδυκτιακό Networking Event, μέσω της πλατφόρμας Airmeet, με σκοπό την γνωριμία και αλληλεπίδραση των συμμετεχόντων.

This year’s edition of the European Startup Universe Greece program is completed, with Greece participating along with 7 countries – Romania, Cyprus, Croatia, Cyprus, Hungary, Luxembourg, Slovenia and Spain. In total 1500+ Founders, 600+ Startups, 93 Speakers, 142 Experts participated in ESU, while 48 Workshops were completed and 45 Office Hours were completed. Regarding Founders, it is worth noting that Greece had the most registrations from startups and startup founders compared to other countries.
In more detail, ESU Greece was attended by 457 founders, 220 startups, 45 experts, 12 speakers, 4 strategic partners, 23 community partners, 5 media partners, while the workshops and office hours both numbered 12. This year the emphasis was on the female entrepreneurship part, having 7 female speakers out of 12, 25 female experts out of 45 and with 36% female Founders participation, surpassing the 24% of the Greek Startup Universe event (the same program implemented only for Greece in 2021).
Through ESU, the participating startups had the opportunity to take part in a series of activities such as Office hours, Workshops, 1on1 Meetings with experts, Community-Forum communication, educational material, various offers, perks or free services and startup tools. In addition, out of the 220 startups that participated in the Greek event, 20 or more of them are going to meet Angel Investors in May, a number that corresponds to 21.1% of the total of the 8 participating countries.
